Julian "Incredleman" Edelman

Julian Edelman is a wide receiver for the The New England Patriots. Picked up in the seventh round of the 2009 NFL draft, Edelman was a small player, standing at a whopping 5' 10". In fact, Julian Edelman wasn't even invited to the draft, but had to have some scouts come to his pro day at Kent State College. He was so fast that the scouts didn't believe the times he had, he was simply too small. Now those scouts are eating their words, because Julian Edelman is now a Superbowl Champion.

Julian's Early Life

Julian Edelman grew up in Redwoods,California. He was constantly pushed to further limits by his father,Francis Edelman. When Julian was in high school, he a small kid, and didn't do well until his senior year. Julian started at a small college, San Mateo, where he posted huge numbers. After his freshman year Julian got an invitation to a major college, which was Kent State. Edelman, eager to make an impact and show the coaches at the college who he was, walked onto the practice field the first day and told the starting quarterback that he would be taking his position, which he did.

Julian's Professional Career

As a quarterback at Kent State, Julian Edelman broke Josh Cribbs's record for total offensive yards. Julian would be picked by the New England Patriots in the 2009 NFL draft, a draft he wasn't even invited to. Julian didn't start out as an instant star in the NFL, in fact, he had to work really hard to get where he was. He would move to California to train with Tom Brady in the off season, just hoping to catch his attention. Julian definitely caught Tom's attention, along with the attention of the world when he scored the game winning touchdown to beat the Seahawks in Superbowl forty-nine. Now Julian prepares in New England for a new season, with hopes of another Superbowl ring.
